Description

Pliosaurus were reptiles that lived during the Late Jurassic period around the shorelines of what is now Europe. Its name means "Pliocene lizard" in Greek.

Pliosaurus were 40ft long and weighed around 30 tons (60,000lbs) which made it the same length of a Sperm whale and the weight of a Humpback Whale.
