All products supplied by Bigjigs carry warnings for EN71 that are relevant to each product. These tests are performed by a third party testing house near the sites of the various factories that are used. For the majority of products that Bigjigs supply, EN71 part 1,2 and 3 is all that is needed but for some of the products we must test EN71 part 8 and fabrics to AZO standards. We stay up to date with the changes in regulations so that we can continue to supply a high quality product that meets the requirements set out in EN71.
We perform random shipment inspections by a third party both before the goods leave the factory and when they enter our warehouses in the UK. This allows us to highlight any product or packaging issues that we can then rework so that we are 100% happy with the product we are supplying.
A member of the Bigjigs team makes a sourcing and compliance trip three times a year. This ensures that we can personally check the conditions that our products are made in and make suggestions where they can be improved if necessary.
